As a bespoke door manufacturer, expanding our client base is always a top priority. We recently took a business trip to New York to meet with current clients, new potential clients and showcase our high-quality doors. We stayed in the heart of Manhattanwhich was an excellent way to immerse ourselves in the local culture and experience all that the city has to offer. Being close to our clients was essential as we could easily travel to their projects as well as being close to attractive cuisines to take our clients to. It also provided an opportunity to network and build relationships with clients outside of work, over dinner and drinks. From the minute we landed, we had organised back-to-back meetings to broaden our relationships and clients out in the city. Armed with brochures and samples of our doors, we set out to meet with many potential clients who had expressed interest in our products. Before we attended our scheduled meetings, we were invited by one of our current clients to view their completed property situated in Long Island. We supplied around 45 complete door sets finished in black high gloss, these door sets were a mixture of 3 panel designs with metal inlays and lattice decorative doors for an added luxury feel. We also supplied a black high gloss double front door with frosted glazed side panels which set the outstanding feel from stepping foot into the home. After taking some time to discover the inspiring city we then attended our first meeting in the cafe at Grand Central Station with a luxury developer who also have a passion in creating beautiful homes. We gave a presentations to all clients highlighting the benefits of our bespoke doors, including their durability, beauty, and ability to add a touch of elegance to any space. The clients were impressed with our endless possibilities of designs and finishes. We also had meetings with interior designers and visitedtheir sleek, modern offices overlooking Times Square, Central Park and Soho offices. The firms specialised in creating upscale residential spaces, and they were looking for custom-made doors to match their clients' unique tastes. We showed them samples and case studies of our work, and gave a positive impression by the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. The rest of our trip was filled with more meetings and site visits. Our current clients introduced us to architects, construction firms, and real estate developers, all looking for bespoke doors to add value to their projects. Each meeting was unique, and we are excited to showcase our doors and explain how they could elevate their designs. In between meetings, we of course explored the bustling city, taking in the sights and sounds of the vibrant streets. We strolled through Central Park, visited the Empire State Building, and indulged in some of the best food the city has to offer.Upon our return we reflected on the success of the meetings and the connections we have made. We knew that building relationships in a city like New York would take time and effort, but we are confident that the trip had laid a strong foundation for future partnerships and relationships.
