This new build property situated in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, was built by iLife Developments and features over 30 of our internal doors throughout. The model chosen was the R101 with a raised and fielded panel and small moulded bolection beading (PCR) for a classical look. The doors were finished in a black stain on oak and ranged from 1981mm to 2300mm in height.

The fire doors around the staircase were made as FD30 whilst the plant room and garage doors were FD60 and 54mm thick for extra fire resistance. All fire door leafs were routed with black intumescent strips.

Glazed doors were used in the communal rooms such as the Dining, Kitchen, Playroom and Media Room. Our client chose the keep the small bottom panel solid for consistency, but another option is to remove this smaller panel and have one panel of glass.

The high security front door is our timeless Royale model in the stunning high gloss piano black finish on the exterior side, with matching frame and architraves. The moulding chosen was the minimal Georgian profile which creates a more modern look and feel compared with the large bolection moulding usually chosen on this door mode (Georgian with Mouldings).

The internal side was a 25% gloss white lacquer finish which works perfectly with the light walls and flooring inside the hallway.

The opening size was 2885mm x 1659mm so glass side panels and a top light were incorporated for the ultimate grand entrance.

The ironmongery was polished chrome which complemented the interior hardware.
