For this family home in Hertfordshire, SWD supplied over 20 bespoke door sets, adding a traditional element to the interiors. The client selected our renowned R101 door model—a classic two-panel design—enhanced with raised and fielded panels to introduce a more classic aesthetic. As well as this, they opted for our PCR beading, a period-style profile that suited the doors beautifully.

To achieve a contrast against the white architraves and surrounding interiors, the doors were finished in black stained oak (T-120), creating a bold yet sophisticated statement.

To maximize natural light flow, several key doors leading into the main living spaces were designed with top glazed panels, allowing daylight to filter through the hallways and into the rooms.

Additionally, a large double door with two fixed glazed panels on either side was installed to create an impressive entrance into the living room, offering both openness and architectural impact.
