Belgravia, LondonUnited Kingdom
This residential home is situated in Belgravia, one of London’s most affluent areas close to Hyde Park and Knightsbridge. The structure and characteristics of this stunning apartment renovation complement our products beautifully. We collaborated closely with the homeowner and interior designer Jonathan Sethna to create impressive, mirrored Lattice Grilles II feature doors, which add a dramatic statement to the hallway. These doors cleverly conceal the entrance to a WC and store cupboard, blending functionality with high design.
Finished in bespoke metallic paint to mimic the look of metal, these timber doors complement with the antique brass hardware found throughout the residence. Standing at 2250mm tall, the doors are topped with fixed panels at 900mm, creating a floor-to-ceiling design that accentuates the property's tall ceilings. Fluted glass panels on either side of the doors tie together beautifully with the pleated silk wallpaper, enhancing the Art Deco aesthetic. Concealed hinges were used here to add to the minimalist, streamlined look.
For this project, we also supplied our bespoke hardware collection where the Lattice doors were paired with door knobs, enhancing their unique character. Matching escutcheons, turn and releases, and euro cylinders were also provided to ensure each door throughout the property operated as the client desired.
