Tony Cope established SWD Bespoke in 1999 and it has since grown into one of the most reputable bespoke door companies in the UK. This is not only down to the quality and craftsmanship of each product but also to the input and expertise of Tony and his family.
Tony and his wife, Beverley, live in Surrey with their three children Olivia, Charlotte and Alex. Over the years all of them have been involved in the growth of SWD. Charlotte (23) has been at SWD for over a year whilst studying Interior Design at KLC School of Design. She recently graduated with a Distinction and her eye for detail and understanding of interior spaces has proved to be invaluable to SWD. Olivia (25) has spent the last few years pursuing a career in Marketing in Sydney but is now back to assist with all aspects of SWD operations and marketing. Olivia has evolved the way SWD interacts with their audience and is always looking for new ways to enhance user experience (don’t forget to follow us on Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook!) Last but certainly not least their youngest, Alex (20), is currently studying Business & Entrepreneurship at Nottingham University. In his downtime, Alex has been an asset to the business planning and development at SWD. All together, they make a fantastic team - whilst doing their bit to save the planet by commuting in one car!
SWD prides itself on having a family culture where employees are considered friends outside of the office. Their Surrey headquarters and showroom in West Molesey is close to home which means Tony’s wife, Beverley, will often make an appearance to lend a helping hand too!
