The exceptional team behind SWD was started and is lead by the Managing Director Tony Cope who drove his then small family-run business into a national and global success. His passion and wealth of knowledge match that of his two daughters, Olivia and Charlotte, and son, Alex who work in tandem to connect with clients and realise their visions to achieve a luxury home.

Born in the UK, the business now operates within regions across the world with the help of a talented team of interior designers, showroom managers, and account managers. The entire team, across all departments, is dedicated to excellence, whether it’s regarding the expert craftsmanship or exceptional customer service we strive for.

Grown from a tailor-made service, we now also cater to business to business projects. Our premium service and attention to detail means we can fashion doors to client specification with minimal time and cost between concept to delivery without sacrificing quality.

The team is constantly striving to be the most imaginative and pioneering artisans within the property industry and have used this wealth of experience to go from concept to installation within a matter of weeks. We are on a mission to transform residential and commercial estates into places of escape and opulence.

Bespoke

First impressions count, which is why bespoke luxury has always been the cornerstone of SWD’s story since the company began supplying tastemakers with impeccable design and exemplary craftsmanship in 2006. Experts in our field, we’ve supplied doors globally, continuing to deliver the state of the art technology every time using sustainable materials, ensuring lasting quality.

Although SWD is now a business very different to the one that launched in 2006, our values have always been concrete. We aspire to be people first, innovative, and interior design focused to deliver the finest quality products, with unparalleled service.

Hardware

Our bespoke range extends beyond entryways, and to the exemplary hardware that accompanies SWDs signature products. The British based ironmongery has been behind the design and development of the range which flawlessly compliments the uniquely finished doors with solid brass handles.

The specialised levers are available in ten elegant finishes; usually 150mm long with a 55m rose, they weigh up to a kilo per handle, conveying luxury and quality above everything else.

Born from SWD Bespoke – the industry-leading bespoke door manufacturer – Maverick is the natural evolution of an unerring vision to shatter the limits of luxury.

Continuing a legacy of creating quality custom pieces from the finest materials, Maverick combines established excellence in craftsmanship with irreverent design and independent spirit.

Collaboration with clients is possible at every stage of the process to create one-of-a-kind designs. Each piece is entirely bespoke, weaving Maverick’s unexpected and striking aesthetic with individual taste and specifications to establish a singular sense of style in any space.

Maverick’s furniture is meticulously handmade by master artisans in small European workshops. Every small detail is carefully considered to bring each piece to life. The final product is composed using time-honoured techniques alongside state of the art technology.
